Part 2
Aslam o Alikum!
Welcome back, Let`s get to where we have almost killed Nomi and the driver. Jeep was slipping, we asked Nomi to please come out but He was not listening.
"Mene ni uthna apni seat se, mjhse ni khra huwa jata phr seat ni milti" idhr jaan ja rahi ha lekin bhai ko seat ki prri ha. Khair, Umer was our ammi. He was responsible for whatever happened to us. Therefore he was very tensed. Finally driver pulled all the brakes and jeep stopped at exact edge of the road. We ran towards it, took Nomi out and hugged him. We thanked Allah Almighty
Shukr Alhumdullilah. After that we started beating Nomi in conventional style. We came back from lake in a jeep having no headlights. Finally we arrived home safely. Now, we had to move towards next destination. We decided to sleep in the bus. A Kashmiri told us that a bus comes at 10 pm to go further and next bus will come at 4 or 5 am in the morning. We packed our bags and started waiting for the bus. It didn`t come on time. We kept waiting on the road for all night. At last, we decided to sleep around 3 am. We threw our bags on roof of a hotel and got up there. Guess what! now the bus came and we had to jump back to get in the bus. It started raining in the morning. We did not have any winter clothing. It was too cold. We used wind screen curtains of bus to wrap around us to avoid cold. Small Kashmiri kids came into the bus as that was their school time.
People of Neelum Valley are very friendly. They treat outsiders like their family members. Please visit sometime, You will really feel the Paradise on Earth.
Kel
Now we have arrived
Kel. We found a room there, put our luggage in room, changed dress and started moving towards places to visit. A special memory of Kel is this picture posted below. We rate it as the best picture of the tour. Hope you will also like it.
Nomi is missing? Where is he? He is not dead, he is behind the camera.😎

Best Picture of the tour |
It was nice, green and smooth road to have a walk. I am sharing some pictures here.

Somewhere in Kel |
There was a suspension bridge of wood. It looked weak but jeeps easily passed over it.

Nomi Posing at the bridge (kel) |
We found an edge of neelum river which was easily accessible. Water of Neelum river was very if you can get fast that it can take a man with it if anyone gets in. We took memorable pictures there.

We wanted to go to
Arang kel as well but chair lifts were not working in those days. So we had to cancel that. There was an army camp right in front of our hotel. Army is everywhere in Neelum Valley. Few days had passed, none of us had informed to our families. I forgot to tell you,
There were no network signals. We asked people there and got to know there is a Kashmiri network called SCOM. We used it to inform our families about where were we. In Neelum Valley, You won`t find delicious dishes to eat. All we got was
lobiya and egg everyday. At Kel, we decided to eat Karahi and started looking for it. Finally we found a restaurant. A man there got us a pahari/desi kukkarr.
Sheikh sb. sat with him to give instructions because we wanted a
Lahori Karahi. It worked and we got the karahi exactly we wanted. We were hungry for meat, so we kept on eating and had almost thirty rotis (the four of us).
We got back to the hotel and took rest there. The room where we were staying, three boys before us stayed there. They fell into the Neelum river and died. Police were looking for their dead bodies. They found two of them, one of the dead bodies was still missing.
Warning! If you visit please don`t go in or near the Neelum River.
To Be Continued............
Wait for the next part we have Kuttan, Kundal Shahi, Shardha University and Murree left.
Past memories never come back
